World Mental Health Day
October 10 is World Mental Health Day, where many people around the world focus on suicide and suicide prevention. The Mental Health Foundation acknowledge that suicide is the biggest killer amongst men age 20 to 49.
Schools Advisory Service encourage our teachers, support staff, administration, caretaking and other school staff to talk using our therapy service confidentially. Please know that SAS is here for you should you need us.
Staff covered with an SAS policy can speak to one of our nurses from Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30 pm on 01773 814 403 or email our nurses on firstname.lastname@example.org and they will respond asap during standard working hours. Should you require access to our counselling services, our nurses can advise and / or organise this on your behalf.
If you urgently need support outside of office hours, please speak to someone you trust or alternatively, contact Samaritans on 116 123.
