Schools Advisory Service are committed to matching the Government Net Zero strategy, in which we aim to halve our Carbon impact by 2030 and become Carbon Net Zero by 2050. Businesses have a crucial role in the success of reaching net zero as a global community. To achieve this we are investing in several key goals that contribute to our Decarbonisation Plan. These goals are part of our broader mission to make a meaningful difference in education and beyond.
Offset our Carbon Emissions through Reforestation
For every school that joins our community, we will plant a tree each year to help offset the carbon footprint of our services. This initiative supports our partner, Tree Nation, with their ambitious goal of planting 1 trillion trees by 2050. By working with a partner like this, we contribute to global reforestation efforts, which are crucial for combating climate change and promoting biodiversity. Our contributions help plant a diverse range of tree species in various ecosystems around the world, ensuring that our efforts benefit both local and global communities.
Our website is a ‘Net-Zero Website’, which means we compensate the CO2 emissions our site generates. This is denoted by the blue and white Net Zero logo at the bottom of our webpages.

Transition to Recyclable and Climate-Conscious Conference Materials
We are dedicated to ensuring all our conference materials are both recyclable and environmentally friendly. This includes everything from paper products to packaging, ensuring minimal environmental impact at every event. During this transition, we will also aim to reduce our conference materials and replace them with digital collateral where we can to further support our Decarbonisation Plan.
Fully Electric Vehicle Fleet with EV Chargers on Site
We are investing in a fully electric fleet of vehicles. This transition will significantly reduce our carbon emissions and demonstrate our commitment to sustainable transportation. We are also encouraging our staff to swap to electric vehicles by incentivising them with free EV charging at our main office.
Implement Green Office Practices
We are upgrading our office practices to be more energy efficient. This includes moving to ink printers with recyclable cartridges, investing in our insulation and purchasing energy efficient equipment.
Through these focused visions, we aim to not only meet but exceed our Decarbonisation Plan, making a positive impact on the planet for future generations.
