Teach Healthy is a 30 min on line health assessment for schools. It allows your staff to assess their whole health: mental, physical and behavioural in a secure private environment. From nutrition, hydration and physical activity to anxiety, depression and stress, teachers and leaders receive immediate feedback and signposting allowing them to improve their wellbeing. We share an anonymous overall picture with school leaders, on an easy to use dashboard, to help them understand what their staff need, linking them to any relevant interventions to make an impact so teachers can teach healthy and teach happy.
In partnership with Champion Health an industry leading wellbeing solution, trusted by the NHS, researched and developed by world wellbeing experts from Leeds-Beckett University, Teach Healthy provides medical led insights for staff and leaders to optimise themselves, and for the school to take a data led approach to staff wellbeing.
It fulfills a key requirement of the newest OFSTED Leadership criteria around staff wellbeing, whilst having a meaningful impact on your staff’s wellbeing and helping reduce absence and saving your school thousands of pounds keeping money in our classrooms.
SupplyWell was co-founded in 2018 by teacher and former senior leader Michael Heverin. In a 12 year career in London and Liverpool Michael saw just how much money was haemorrhaging out of classrooms due to extortionate supply teaching costs, all of which was driven by huge levels of absence amongst the teaching profession.
Like many others, Michael became a statistic and suffered from work-related stress and exhaustion and felt that teaching was no longer a sustainable career. SupplyWell was founded out of a desire to keep teachers in the classroom, teaching happy and to stop others falling out of the job they love.
What do SupplyWell do?
We have a saying that “if it’s not in the best interest of teachers, schools and students then it is not in our interest”. We work with our partner schools to help them save money on recruitment, reduce their staff absence and increase staff retention, all of which will improve outcomes for all.
We provide amazing supply teachers to schools and have a flat transparent fee to help us keep the lights on, we pay our fantastic supply teachers fairly based on national pay scales and experience and we never charge a temp to perm fee. We are transparent.
We want you to know where your money goes and more importantly that you don’t get taken advantage of.
We train Mental Health First Aid Champions as a gift to all of our partner schools and ensure that all of our supply teachers have access to leading-edge mental health support.
