Clarity of understanding of the pressures of the job as well as offering some coping strategies
Schools Advisory Service and James Hilton (JMH Training & Consulting Ltd) working together in support of the National Wellbeing Partnership. Schools Advisory Service and James Hilton (JMH Training & Consulting Ltd) share the same desire to support and sustain the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the schools that they work with. Both organisations have a track record of supporting physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Both organisations believe that a closer working relationship is beneficial to both organisations and schools more widely.
This collaboration will seek to proactively develop a broader understanding of physical and mental health and wellbeing in schools across the country with a series of partners who similarly want to make a difference to staff and pupil, physical and mental wellbeing.
James is a speaker and author on leadership and staff wellbeing. With over twenty five-years experience in teaching, twenty three years in leadership and fifteen years as a head, James helps schools and other organisations to navigate the stresses and strains of the modern day working environment. James is valued for his down to earth approach and self-deprecating humour.
These are tough times and James does not claim to have all the answers to the challenges that schools are currently facing. What he does offer, though, is a greater clarity of understanding of the pressures of the job as well as offering some coping strategies. James is able to offer pre-recorded video sessions and live face to face sessions of anything from half an hour to three hours. He works with senior leaders but is equally as comfortable working with a much broader spectrum of staff as part of staff meetings and half day INSETs.
James Hilton (JMH Training & Consulting Ltd) will offer the National Wellbeing Partnership:
- Attendance at regional wellbeing events where possible.
- Access to training materials by agreement.
Schools Advisory Service will undertake to:
- Involve James Hilton (JMH Training & Consulting Ltd) at every stage within the National Wellbeing Partnership as a partner
- Offer James Hilton (JMH Training & Consulting Ltd) opportunities to present at regional wellbeing events organised by the partnership.
