As we approach Christmas at the end of a year which has been so hard for us all, it is worth remembering that the current situation will pass. As schools count down to Christmas, Schools Advisory Service are there for you and want to support and nourish your wellbeing with a daily wellbeing thought for the day.
We are pleased to introduce #AndysWellbeingAdventCalendar for the month of December. Start every morning with a little task that will help to improve and bolster your mental and physical wellbeing. Themes include improving sleep, being more physically active, acts of kindness and many more.
These will be posted on the @SchoolsAdvisory and @andymellor64 social media accounts every morning at 8am until Christmas Day. These ideas are designed to support every aspect of your wellbeing. We’d love to know how it is going so don’t forget to share with us on socials!
“The work to keep schools open has been heroic in the face of an unseen challenge this year. However the weeks leading up to Christmas are always tough. Please use the advent calendar we’ve created to support your wellbeing. On behalf of the nation, thank you for working in our schools but especially this year for the dedication, courage and perseverance in the face of a global pandemic and have a restful and well deserved Christmas break.” – Andy Mellor, SAS Wellbeing Director
Please be advised to consult your GP if you have been advised against doing any of these activities.
Working in schools, you make such a difference to the lives of children but you have done an incredible job this year. Take some time to replenish you. Have a wonderful Christmas from all of us at Schools Advisory Service.
